Network Engineer Level 3

Responsibilities

• Provide Network Communication services to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities
• Perform system level design, architecture, and enterprise security
• Manage datacenter virtualization and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure
• Handle physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices
• Support on-call requirements and utilize ticketing systems to track tasking

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent poly within last 7 years)
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 10 years of equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, or security
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• Proven experience in datacenter network design including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPNs
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS, NxOS, ASA, F5/Cisco load balancers, and Juniper
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, and stateful firewalls
