About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy security perimeter and adjacent network infrastructure
- Manage and evolve network segmentation, DMZ, and network security aspects
- Evaluate and lab test new platforms for network security infrastructure
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams on threat detection and mitigation
- Interface with application owners and traders to enable secure business workflows
- Enhance support through improved observability, scripting, and documentation
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience operating and deploying network infrastructure
- Experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)
- Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (TCP/UDP)
- Strong understanding of firewall hardware architecture and performance metrics
- Experience with firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and modern encryption techniques
- Proficiency in a programming language is preferred
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with overlay networks (EVPN, VxLAN)
