Network Engineer IV

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead design of enterprise network solutions including LAN/WAN, SDN, and secure enclaves
• Oversee integration of advanced network technologies and security controls aligned with RMF and STIGs
• Lead resolution of complex network issues and drive modernization initiatives
• Develop network standards, policies, and engineering best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in network engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+
• Eligibility to obtain Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network engineering environments
• Familiarity with network automation, scripting, or SDN technologies
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems
