Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing and validation of network infrastructure migration to a new solution
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate connectivity, latency, bandwidth, and security
• Validate access to critical tools including Git repositories, CI/CD platforms, and development environments
• Identify and resolve routing, firewall, VPN, and DNS issues related to the migration
• Conduct load and performance tests to ensure services maintain required SLAs
• Document network configurations, data flows, connectivity matrices, and troubleshooting runbooks
• Collaborate with network teams to align architectures and resolve incompatibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise network architecture and administration
• Deep knowledge of network protocols and VPN technologies
• Expertise in network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and segmentation
• Experience with cloud network architectures such as AWS VPC, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway
• Proficiency with network diagnostic tools including Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, and nmap
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
• Proficiency in English (oral and written)
