Network Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise network solutions including routing, switching, and firewall configurations
• Integrate network systems with cybersecurity controls and enterprise services
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues
• Support network optimization, scalability, and high availability initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering and integration efforts

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in network engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+
• Eligibility to obtain Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network engineering environments
• Familiarity with network automation, scripting, or SDN technologies
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems
