Network Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain network configurations for routers, switches, and firewalls
• Support network integration and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot network issues and support performance tuning
• Assist with implementation of security controls and compliance with STIGs
• Support documentation and engineering changes

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+
• Eligibility to obtain Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network engineering environments
• Familiarity with network automation, scripting, or SDN technologies
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems
