Network Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Assist in network engineering tasks including configuration and deployment support
• Support troubleshooting of network issues and system performance
• Assist with implementation of network designs and updates
• Maintain network documentation and configuration records
• Work with senior engineers to support integration activities

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in network engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Security+
• Eligibility to obtain Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network engineering environments
• Familiarity with network automation, scripting, or SDN technologies
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems
