Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain dual-firewall high-availability network architectures across APAC office locations
• Own configuration and lifecycle management of enterprise switches, wireless access points, and firewalls
• Lead the new APAC site network build, including hardware migration and ISP coordination
• Partner with InfoSec on global network security posture, firewall policy review, and VPN/ZTNA
• Provide hands-on L2 IT support for conference room AV, printers, access control, and employee devices
• Provide first-half-of-day support coverage for EMEA employees
• Maintain central knowledge base, runbooks, and network architecture documentation

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on network engineering experience in a mid-to-large enterprise
• Experience with firewall administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA)
• Expertise in enterprise switching, VLAN, STP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN
• Demonstrated experience with high-availability network designs and dual-ISP failover
• CCNA required; CCNP or vendor equivalent (Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE) strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, or GCP)
• Ability to provide hands-on L2 IT support for end-user infrastructure
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with globally distributed teams
• Experience supporting a SOC2-audited environment
• Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or vendor APIs)
