Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Network and System Administrators
• Monitor and maintain current infrastructure and improve system performance
• Automate system administration tasks
• Provide input to the design of network and mission architecture
• Conduct Computer Network Defense Operations and plan network upgrades
• Perform quality assurance, control, and maintain network diagrams and accreditations
• Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulations
• Oversee support for all network equipment
• Support the integration of analytic platforms into the CND CDC
• Resolve complex network problems using analyzers, WAN test equipment, and simulators
• Design modules representing traditional circuit switched networks
• Lead large-scale installation projects and dynamic requirements

Requirements

• Active security clearance with polygraph
• 10-16 years of experience as a Network Engineer in similar programs
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (Bachelor's degree with additional experience may be substituted)
• DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level III baseline certification
• Cisco certification
