About the Company
Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to build civilization-scale infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own the network design lifecycle from customer requirements through deployable, validated architectures for AI training and inference
- Produce topology designs, IP/addressing schemes, routing policy, and fabric configuration specs
- Adapt architectures to different GPU platforms, form factors, and workload profiles
- Translate logical designs into physical reality including rack elevations, power constraints, and cabling
- Design lossless Ethernet fabrics for RDMA (RoCEv2) including PFC, ECN tuning, and congestion management
- Produce HLDs, LLDs, cutsheets, BOMs, and design decision records
Requirements
- Experience designing data center network fabrics from requirements through deployment
- Deep L1 to L3 expertise including CLOS/fat-tree topologies, BGP, and EVPN/VXLAN
- Experience designing lossless RDMA (RoCEv2) fabrics
- Ability to reason from first principles through novel design challenges
- Experience partnering across Hardware, DC Operations, ICT, and Software teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Source-of-truth-driven design generation
- Multi-vendor GPU platform integration
- Large-cluster (100k+ accelerator) experience
