Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and cloud-integrated network infrastructure
• Configure and support network equipment including routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless solutions
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity, throughput, and routing issues
• Optimize network performance through analysis, tuning, and capacity planning
• Participate in the rollout of new network services such as SD-WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS
• Document network topologies, configurations, and procedures
• Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and system integrations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise IP networking (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment
• CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent preferred
• Familiarity with firewalls and VPNs (Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
• Solid understanding of network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Exposure to network automation tools like Python or Ansible
• Understanding of load balancing and HA/DR architectures (F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems
