Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and distribute IP/VLAN configurations
• Design and implement network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and IPS
• Manage existing VoIP and data LAN/WAN networks
• Create and manage automation scripts to enhance solution delivery
• Proactively identify network issues before they affect end-users
• Perform network migrations and upgrades during maintenance windows (11pm-4am)
• Design and execute tests on new hardware and validate firmware releases
• Provide hardware and software fault isolation, repairs, and configuration management
• Install and support network cabling
• Develop and monitor network resource policies
• Assist in the design and implementation of new LANs for branches

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Networking Technology or related field, or qualifying experience
• At least 2 years of experience in network communications or telecommunications
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking components
• Previous experience with Cisco Meraki switches, routers, and firewalls
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA certification
• CCNP certification
• Security+ certification
