About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN equipment
- Implement and manage network protocols, routing, and switching technologies to optimize performance and reliability
- Monitor network performance and security to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Participate in network capacity planning and traffic engineering activities
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and best practices
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures
- Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and integration with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
- Provide technical support and training to junior network staff and other IT teams
Requirements
- Valid CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification
- Strong knowledge of network protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Experience configuring VPN, NAT, QoS, and network security controls
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
