Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end physical deployment and logical validation of network infrastructure
• Perform advanced device racking, mounting, and power sequencing for high-density chassis
• Manage structured cabling including fiber optics (SMF/MMF), SFP/transceiver installation, and high-density patching
• Coordinate circuit extensions and manage patch panel terminations (copper and fiber)
• Configure Out-of-Band (OOB) management and troubleshoot serial connectivity
• Configure and troubleshoot L2 protocols including VLANs, VTP, and Spanning Tree
• Assist in L3 interface bring-up and verify BGP/OSPF neighbor adjacencies
• Provision and troubleshoot Link Aggregation Groups (LAGs)

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in a Data Center or large Enterprise campus environment
• Experience with Ethernet, fiber cabling, and hardware installation (Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5)
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS, NX-OS, PAN OS, or Arista EOS
• Experience using VFL, Light Meters, and Fiber Inspection Scopes
• Mandatory CCNA or equivalent certification
• CCNP Enterprise (ENCORE) highly preferred
• Fluency in English and German (C1)
• Ability to present a recent Criminal Record
