Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the stability, design, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and cloud networking environments.
• Plan and implement enterprise network solutions including switching, wireless access points, and telecommunications.
• Configure and administer Juniper switches, Juniper Mist wireless solutions, and Palo Alto SD-WAN technologies.
• Partner with Cyber Security teams to maintain secure infrastructure, including firewall policies, VPNs, and access controls.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment procurement and service resolution.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, IP addressing, and configuration standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco switches.
• Proven experience with Palo Alto SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with Juniper Mist wireless solutions and enterprise Wi-Fi management.
• Knowledge of cloud networking environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel up to 15% to various business locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIS, or Palo Alto Networks certifications.
• Experience with cloud-managed wireless platforms and RF analysis.
• Experience supporting VoIP systems and telecommunications infrastructure.
