Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain all network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and CNIs
• Manage and support firewalls, IDS/IPS, and perimeter security solutions
• Architect and manage BGP routing, Anycast deployments, and dynamic routing strategies
• Manage site-to-site VPNs, ISP relationships, and WAN connectivity
• Provide hands-on expertise in Azure cloud networking including VNets and VPN gateways
• Implement and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking using CNIs such as Cilium or Calico
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation and topology diagrams
• Provide on-call support for outages and escalations
• Lead initiatives for the optimization, resiliency, and security hardening of network infrastructure

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with advanced networking technologies
• Strong expertise in routing and switching across enterprise and data center networks
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Barracuda preferred), ASA/FTD, and perimeter security
• Deep knowledge of Cisco Nexus & Catalyst, Aruba, and Ruckus networking
• Practical experience with BGP and Anycast deployments
• Experience with Kubernetes networking and CNIs like Cilium or Calico
• Familiarity with Azure cloud networking
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Grafana
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
• Cisco Certified (CCNA minimum, CCNP preferred)
• Experience participating in successful DR implementations and testing
