Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain monitoring systems
• Perform full fault troubleshooting, problem isolation, and corrective action implementation
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to troubleshoot problems and manage network changes
• Provision and configure core network devices, including IP assignment, DNS setup, and NNI ports
• Execute network equipment build, installation, and configuration
• Perform hardware, security, and configuration audits
• Write custom monitoring plugins and configure bespoke graphing
• Maintain technical documentation and WIKI for NOC processes
• Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for core network datacenter services and infrastructure
• Participate in a 24x7 call-out rotation if required

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols (STP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSec)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran routing, switching, and firewall devices
• Knowledge of WAN technologies, VoIP, VPNs, and security protocols
• JNCIA or CCNA certification required
• Familiarity with Linux OS and networking
• Experience with centralized device monitoring and management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• JNCIP or CCNP certification
• Experience with SD-WAN deployment
