Network DevOps Specialist

Responsibilities

• Be a force for automation within the low latency network team
• Bring DevOps best practices to the Low latency network team
• Automate software release processes for software and new hardware
• Build CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, manage infrastructure as code, and optimize network engineering workflows
• Become the SME for virtualized and containerized/cloud deployments
• Own the single source of truth and its network data models
• Design, prototype and bring to production any framework required to achieve your mandate
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network configurations and changes
• Collaborate with Network Engineering team to standardize network designs and topology models
• Develop automation for day-to-day network tasks and self-service capabilities
• Support VM, cloud, and bare metal deployments
• Ensure security and compliance in automation pipelines
• Maintain runbooks and documentation
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, NetDevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Networking, or related field
• DevOps certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, CKA, Red Hat, or Cisco Devnet)
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Proficiency with git, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Experience with Ansible or Terraform
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with virtualization (Proxmox, VMware) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (BGP, VLANs, VXLAN, VRF, ACLs, QoS)
