Network Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design network designs, services, and deployment procedures to meet complex requirements
• Create and automate deployment processes to increase quality and velocity
• Develop High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documents
• Perform network and systems operations, including scaling, technology refresh, and optimization
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to roll out new designs and products
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and manage customer issues during problem resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 8+ years of IP networking fundamentals and troubleshooting experience
• 8+ years of experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, and ISIS
• 8+ years working with Cisco IOS and/or Junos
• 3+ years of Unix/Linux experience
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, or shell

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or MBA
• Senior or Lead Engineer experience
• Expert-level certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE
• Advanced automation and software development skills
