Network Deployment Engineer

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to scale civilization-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and validate data center network infrastructure including front-end, back-end, BMS, and management
• Configure switches, install and validate optics, and coordinate cabling
• Ensure physical connectivity meets production standards through fiber remediation and OTDR trace validation
• Manage hardware logistics including device staging, rack/stack coordination, RMA, and inventory
• Partner with DC Operations, ICT, Hardware, and Network Engineering teams
• Maintain cutsheets, as-builts, and validation results
• Provide operational support, incident response, and troubleshooting during and after deployments

Requirements

• Hands-on data center network engineering experience
• Understanding of modern fabrics such as EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, and CLOS
• Ability to troubleshoot across physical and logical layers (OTDR, insertion loss, BGP sessions)
• Comfortable with field work including pulling cable and configuring switches
• Ability to travel 50% to 60% for onsite deployments
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AI fabric turn-up experience
• Experience with configuration management and automation tooling
• Relevant vendor certifications
