Network Delivery Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute network provisioning deployments and manage firewall configurations, including ACL management, IPSec, and NAT.
• Perform periodic patch management for network switches, firewalls, and servers, and upgrade device operating systems.
• Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations to ensure peak network efficiency.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using Python, Go, or Shell to streamline routine tasks.
• Act as a primary on-call engineer to resolve complex network incidents and outages, providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Function as the L1 point of escalation for Network Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in network operations or network engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of Data Center topologies and routing/switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and VRRP.
• Basic scripting and automation skills with proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell, and experience with orchestration tools like Ansible or Salt.
• Fundamental knowledge of Linux distributions (Ubuntu/RHEL) and web servers like Nginx or Apache2.
• Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and handle critical incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of VxLAN.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA.
