Network Control Technician II

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems and services using enterprise monitoring tools in a NOC environment
• Respond to network alerts, incidents, and service disruptions
• Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate issues as required
• Document incidents, outages, and resolution activities in tracking systems
• Support network operations including routine maintenance and updates
• Maintain logs and operational records in accordance with program standards

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in network operations or NOC support
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or Security+
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment including shift work
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy NOC operations
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, Splunk, or Nagios
• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems
• Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance
