Network Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless controllers, and load balancers
• Manage cloud networking components such as VPCs, VNets, NSGs, subnets, and cloud gateways
• Provide L2-level troubleshooting for complex network and infrastructure issues
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, and patching
• Execute network changes following ITIL-based incident and change management practices
• Participate in major incident management (P1/P2) and on-call rotations
• Ensure compliance with security and audit standards
• Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and escalations
• Mentor L1 team and contribute to internal documentation and SOPs

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of total experience
• 4 to 6 years of relevant enterprise or corporate networking experience
• Hands-on L2-level experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, AWS, or Azure
• Familiarity with network security best practices
• Ability to work in 24x7 shift operations, including night and weekend rotations
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, or Fortinet NSE

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or M.C.A.
• Exposure to infra-audits, compliance processes, and security controls
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
