SambaNova Systems is building the future of AI computing by disrupting the AI and high-performance computing space with an integrated hardware and software platform. Their SambaNova Suite™ is a full-stack, generative AI platform optimized for enterprise and government organizations.

Responsibilities

• Architect foundational networks powering next-generation AI workloads, from RDU-accelerated servers to global-scale AI clusters
• Translate complex technical and customer requirements into scalable, cost-optimized, and high-performance infrastructure solutions
• Partner with hardware engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations to bring compute platforms from concept to deployment
• Evaluate network choices and their impact on compute product requirements including NIC selection, latency, and throughput
• Support large-scale infrastructure operations including fleet deployment and platform lifecycle management

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience designing compute infrastructure for hyperscale, AI, HPC, or cloud environments
• Deep experience with AI compute platforms, GPU/accelerator systems, and rack-scale compute
• Strong understanding of server and rack-level architecture (power, thermal, mechanical, firmware)
• Expertise in AI cluster networking including InfiniBand, RoCEv2, and Ethernet-based AI fabrics
• Proficiency with spine-leaf architectures, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, and network automation
• Experience with lossless Ethernet designs, including QoS, ECN, and PFC
• Familiarity with high-speed optics (400G/800G) and cabling implications for AI clusters
• Ability to balance performance, cost, manufacturability, and long-term scalability
