Network and Systems Engineer

Neuralink is creating devices that enable a bi-directional interface with the brain to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize human-digital interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data center environments including power, cooling, and racking solutions
• Procure, rack, cable, and commission server and network hardware
• Own the full server lifecycle from selection through decommissioning
• Administer and manage HPC clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networks
• Automate server provisioning using PXE/HTTP boot, scripting, and configuration management tools
• Administer Linux and Windows server environments
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor campus network infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PII, and cybersecurity standards
• Author and maintain technical documentation and SOPs

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Arista, and enterprise wireless technologies
• Experience building and supporting HPC or high-density compute environments (GPU clusters, high-performance storage)
• Working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ECMP, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Familiarity with DCIM tools and infrastructure monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with firewalls, SDWAN, and enterprise security technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Wave Division Multiplexing, Fiber Optics, GPON, and FTTH
• Familiarity with cluster resource managers (Slurm, LSF, PBS)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage ecosystems
• Exposure to real-time systems and industrial telemetry networks
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
