Network and Server Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform network configuration and troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, VLANs, and VPNs
• Manage routing and switching protocols including BGP, VRF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and NAT
• Troubleshoot telephony systems such as MS Teams Telephony, Cisco/CUCM, and Genesys
• Manage firewall and network security, wireless network deployment, and support
• Utilize network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Netflow for performance tuning
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and hardware/software resolution
• Use ticketing systems including ServiceNow, Confluence, and DevOps
• Collaborate with teams to maintain server infrastructure and provide onsite support

Requirements

• Proven success in a network support role within a large commercial organization
• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching
• Proficiency with the Microsoft software suite
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends if required
