About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to diagnose and resolve network issues across LAN, WAN and colocation environments
- Work with project managers on site expansions, new market data feeds and connections to third-party services
- Maintain and improve monitoring and alert systems with an emphasis on automation, AI integration and DevOps practices
- Use scripting or development tools to reduce manual tasks and enhance network visibility
Requirements
- Experience operating and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks
- Familiarity with routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and PIM-SM
- Ability to debug transport protocols (TCP/UDP)
- Proficiency in Linux environments
- Programming or scripting knowledge, specifically with Python or similar tools
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with global teams
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with overlay networks such as EVPN or VxLAN
