About the role
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- Deploy and maintain private network links and dedicated peering
- Drive adoption of automation to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services
- Enforce network security policies and procedures
- Perform proactive network capacity management
- Act as a mentor and point of reference for new administrators
- Contribute to the planning of network and systems evolution
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Network Administrator
- Expert level in routing technologies (BGP, OSPF)
- Expert level in switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, Layer 2/3 protocols)
- Expert level in resolving complex, unprecedented technical problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux environments
- Expertise in automation using Python and Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Cloud Network concepts (AWS, Azure)
