Network Administrator IV

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level leadership for enterprise network architecture, design, and operations
• Oversee large-scale network environments including LAN/WAN, boundary systems, and secure enclaves
• Lead implementation of advanced network security controls in alignment with RMF, STIGs, and DoD directives
• Direct troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across distributed environments
• Drive network optimization, scalability, and modernization initiatives
• Mentor senior staff and advise leadership on network strategy and engineering decisions

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in network administration or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field
• Experience with enterprise network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls)
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Security+
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems
• Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance
