Network Administrator III

Responsibilities

• Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, and network services
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity and availability issues
• Implement network configurations, patches, and updates
• Support compliance with STIGs and network security policies
• Assist in incident response and problem resolution
• Collaborate with engineering teams on network improvements

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in network administration
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field
• Experience with enterprise network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Security+
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
• Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems
• Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance
