Network Administrator

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
• Configure and monitor Cisco IP Phone with ISE systems
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime
• Perform regular maintenance including firmware updates, patch management, and hardware replacements
• Implement and manage network security measures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption
• Analyze network traffic to identify bottlenecks and implement QoS policies
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and disaster recovery plans
• Mentor junior network administrators and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience
• 7-10 years of experience in network administration
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a VOIP administrator
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network hardware
• Knowledge of network security best practices and tools
• Familiarity with wireless networking technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• CompTIA Network+
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
