Create and update tickets utilizing DISA ticketing applications for customer problem tracking
Monitor network events and element management failures in real-time on a 24x7x365 basis
Perform IP network support including configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment
Perform IP satellite modem support including configuration and issue of option/boot/RSP files
Remotely access and de-access customers into the IP/SATCOM networks
Work with DoD SATCOM Gateway facilities and deployed operators to troubleshoot and resolve SATCOM and IP network issues
Verify equipment is operating in the baseline configuration
Remotely provide global equipment configurations at DoD SATCOM Gateways

Active, in-scope Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship
8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec+ CE or equivalent)
Minimum of two years of relevant experience
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift work environment
Moderate IP/Networking experience (routers, switches, firewalls, EIGRP, BGP, RIP, VLANs, ACLs, multicasting)
Working knowledge of VoIP gateways, call managers, and telephony systems
Working knowledge of satellite communications technology architectures
High School Diploma or GED

CCNA/CCNP certifications
Experience with iDirect/Linkway IP Modems
Familiarity with MILSATCOM earth terminal equipment (up/down converters, modems, high power amplifiers)
Familiarity with encryption devices (KG-250, KG-250x, KIV-7HS, KIV-7M, KG-175)
Familiarity with trouble ticketing systems and service desk operations
