About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Cisco Meraki cloud and on-premises devices, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and security appliances
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki Cloud solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Windows and Meraki infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize server performance, device performance, and network throughput
  • Manage and maintain Windows servers, including WSUS and Active Directory
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional IT experience
  • JNCIS or equivalent professional networking certification (JNCIP preferred)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience with on-premises, virtualized, and cloud network environments
  • Experience supporting and securing edge/IoT network devices
  • Experience with datacenter cross-connects and interconnects
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Mist and/or Meraki networking solutions
  • Experience with cellular private networks
  • Experience designing or supporting Azure cloud networking solutions
  • Experience with hyperconverged networking or Azure Local deployments
  • Experience with storage administration, including tape-based storage
  • Experience with identity management and incident response activities
