.NET Back End Developer

Responsibilities

• Build ASP.NET Core services and Azure Functions using modern C#/.NET for steering, telemetry, and agent runtime support.
• Implement secure APIs behind Microsoft Entra and Azure API Management, including operational controls and command execution.
• Develop durable orchestrations for long-running agent loops, including serverless workflows, retries, and idempotency.
• Design and build integration services and MCP servers to expose entity data and tools safely to agents.
• Implement secure authentication patterns including OAuth/OIDC, on-behalf-of flows, and least-privilege access.
• Integrate with legacy and modern enterprise systems using APIs, Logic Apps, and various SDKs.
• Emit comprehensive audit logs, application telemetry, and operational metrics for all system actions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on C# and .NET 8/9 experience, including ASP.NET Core and Azure Functions.
• Experience with distributed systems patterns such as circuit-breakers, background jobs, and durable workflows.
• Proficiency with Azure API Management, Microsoft Entra, OAuth/OIDC, and managed identities.
• Practical experience with data access using EF Core and databases like Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or Cosmos DB.
• Experience in API and integration engineering, including contract testing and versioning.
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or a willingness to build MCP endpoints.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Semantic Kernel for .NET, Dapr, or gRPC.
• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, webMethods, or complex enterprise integration environments.
• Experience building services that support AI agents, tool calling, or human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows.
• Familiarity with sovereign cloud, regulated environments, and data residency requirements.
