Neonatal NICU Nurse

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a safe and sterile environment for neonatal care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor newborns' responses throughout the care process
• Provide comprehensive pre-treatment and post-treatment care to neonates
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate parents and families about neonatal care plans and home care strategies
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin
• Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting
• Strong knowledge of neonatal care protocols and safety precautions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed patient records
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
