NEMT Driver

Responsibilities

• Independently run medical transportation operations in a company vehicle
• Ensure patients are transported safely from their home to place of service and returned home safely
• Utilize company transportation software
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Assume on-call responsibilities
• Effectively communicate with leadership
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness

Requirements

• Valid State Driver's license
• 3 years of professional driving experience
• Clean driving record (No more than 1 point)
• Ability to pass a drug test and health screening (alcohol, TB skin test and/or TB chest x-ray)
• Ability to pass a physical agility test
• Ability to lift/maneuver 50 pounds
• Fluency in English
• Ability to use apps and electronic devices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual language ability
• Previous wheelchair transport experience
