Needs Analysis and Research Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead identification and documentation of use-cases, user-needs, and system requirements
• Conduct capability gap analyses and capacity requirements assessments
• Identify research requirements to address capability and capacity gaps
• Review state-of-the-art C-UAS capabilities and provide recommendations
• Liaise with government, industry, and research stakeholders for collaboration
• Provide solution recommendations to management
• Participate in technical meetings and briefings

Requirements

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related engineering/business discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the last 10 years
• Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) lifecycle
• Proficiency in Business Process Mapping and documentation
• Experience in Process Digitization and workflow transformation
• Demonstrated skill in Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement
• Ability to hold or obtain Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to assess emerging aviation, uncrewed systems, and robotics technologies
• Familiarity with Department of National Defence (DND) processes
