About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead NEC4 contract administration and project management processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Act as Project Manager under NEC contracts, issuing instructions, managing early warnings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage complex highways and infrastructure schemes from inception to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Contractors, and internal design teams.
  • Manage resources and remote teams effectively to meet fluctuating workloads.
  • Oversee project controls, including programme management, forecasting, cost control, and invoicing.
  • Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with H&S, CDM, QA, and technical review requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within the Highways or Infrastructure sector.
  • Strong background in NEC contract management, including compensation events and early warnings.
  • Solid knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness with experience in project and resource management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NEC4 accreditation or formal qualification.
