NEC Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Undertake NEC Supervisor services as defined in the NEC3 ECC
• Provide independent scrutiny of works on site to ensure correct materials and standards
• Identify and prevent potential issues through foresight
• Manage defects and witness testing
• Attend progress meetings and issue contract communications
• Maintain contemporary records of all observations
• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager

Requirements

• NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager Accreditation
• Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification
• Relevant construction experience and understanding of construction methods
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large project team
• Proficiency in using digital systems for project information and defect recording

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
