NDT Welding Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections to ensure product compliance with ASTM, ASME, and ISO standards
• Verify the conformity of sub-assemblies against contractual and internal requirements
• Inspect metallurgical structures and installations for defects such as cracks, corrosion, or structural flaws
• Write detailed inspection reports and document all non-conformities
• Record inspection results using industrial digital tools on-site
• Participate in joint inspections with clients
• Lead or participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce defect rates and implement corrective action plans
• Provide daily quality oversight in coordination with production and manufacturing stakeholders

Requirements

• NDT Level 2 certification (CBW or ASNT)
• Mandatory VT (Visual Testing) certification
• Proficiency in French; basic English skills
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, ASME, and ISO standards
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to commute to or relocate to La Pocatière, Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RT (Radiographic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Penetrant Testing), or UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
