NDT-UT Inspector and Blade Repairer

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasonic (UT) inspections on wind turbine blades
• Detect and evaluate structural defects such as delamination, cracks, and adhesion failures
• Interpret A-Scan, B-Scan, and C-Scan results to evaluate criticality
• Execute structural repairs on composite materials including fiberglass and carbon fiber laminates
• Perform leading edge and trailing edge repairs
• Apply structural resins and adhesives
• Conduct post-repair quality control using NDT techniques
• Prepare technical inspection and repair reports
• Work at heights (tower, nacelle, or rope access)

Requirements

• NDT Level II or III certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) under ASNT or ISO 9712 standards
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in NDT inspection
• Proven experience in wind blade repair
• Technical training in mechanics, electromechanics, or composite materials
• Ability to work in wind farm field environments
