NDT Senior Technician - Phased Array

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced non-destructive testing inspections using phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) and other NDT methods
• Set up and calibrate equipment for construction and asset integrity projects
• Execute inspections in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, and client requirements
• Interpret and evaluate indications and prepare accurate reports
• Develop scan plans and support failure analysis or engineering evaluations
• Mentor Level I technicians and support on-the-job training
• Travel to various job sites in different terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or associate degree in Non-Destructive Testing
• Current Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
• Experience setting up, calibrating, and operating phased array equipment
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and procedures
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain inspection records
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TOFD, MT, PT, RT, or NACE
