NDT Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and measured inspections of products to ensure conformance with standards and requirements
• Inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, and products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
• Apply various NDE methods using appropriate inspection processes
• Maintain, adjust, or calibrate inspection equipment
• Complete inspection records and prepare accurate reports
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and work practices
• Adhere to appropriate codes, regulations, procedures, and standards

Requirements

• Foundational NDT inspection skills (in training or development)
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Teams and the ability to enter NDT reports
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Level II or III Certified NDT Inspector
