About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing techniques including visual inspection (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and liquid penetrant testing (PT)
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports for clients
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Work with clients to understand testing needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Develop technical capability in emerging NDT technologies
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and health and safety compliance
Requirements
- AINDT or PCN Level 2 certifications in UT2 Welds, MT2, and PT2 (essential)
- Minimum 5 years practical work experience in NDT
- Current driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites around NZ
- Proficiency with computers and technology
- Strong customer and client service focus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 9712 Phased Array certification
- Certified Welding Inspection (CWI)
