About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections on aerospace parts before, during, and after testing to detect surface and subsurface defects such as cracks, scratches, porosity, or overheating.
  • Prepare and treat parts using fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI), including rinsing, drying, and cleaning.
  • Manage chemical solutions, including sampling and tank drainage as required.
  • Execute pressure tests and flow verification, including setting up gauges, using jigs, and performing necessary connections.
  • Evaluate non-conformities using appropriate documentation to determine acceptability based on quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection parameters to support statistical process control.
  • Follow technical drawings, non-destructive testing standards, and verbal instructions to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Maintain NDT accreditations in FPI, MPI, X-Ray, and acid etch (anodic acid and titanium anodized).
  • Experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  • Basic proficiency in English to understand specialized work instructions, technical drawings, and international terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 2 certification in at least one of the required NDT techniques.
  • ONGC certification.
