NDT Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI), Blue Etch, Chem Etch, and Sonic Wall
• Examine aerospace engine case parts to determine and verify conformance to work instructions and repair scope
• Inspect internal case structures using specialized inspection equipment and fixtures
• Prepare and complete required manual and electronic inspection documents, reports, and work instruction stamping
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and materials teams regarding the inspection process
• Review blueprints, repair operation requirements, and work instructions
• Assist Level III Quality Engineers in developing specific test techniques

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• NDT Level 2 certification
• One year of related experience or education in various NDT methods
• Experience in aviation component repair
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Experience using SAP
