NDE Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and calibration of nondestructive testing equipment
• Support certified technicians in applying testing criteria according to standards and procedures
• Measure defect dimensions using instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Record test results and write inspection reports under direct supervision
• Position products, components, or parts for testing and arrange tested products for processing or shipping
• Compare material colors, shapes, or textures against samples to verify conformance
• Notify supervisors of any production or quality issues identified during inspections
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety and environmental guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to work onsite in Livingston, LA
• Willingness to learn and follow direct supervision from NDE Technicians
