NC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Program airfoils, roots, and spindles made from various alloys including Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum
• Support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls, and software
• Own programs through implementation into production and provide necessary shop support
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
• Select new capital equipment and manage the transition into production
• Execute process improvement projects to improve product cost, quality, and lead time

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing OR an Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated experience with graphic programming, part modeling, and program simulation software
• Hands-on experience with NX and Vericut
• Ability to utilize process monitoring software

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with rotating hardware, airfoils, and continuous improvement projects
• Experience with George Fischer’s Turbosoft Plus
• Understanding of optimization software including Vericut Force, Thirdwave, and CutPro/Machpro
