NBU Manufacturing Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design automation tools for product definitions, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis
• Drive NBU diagnosis and analyze test issues at the product level in collaboration with hardware, software, and operations teams
• Qualify equipment, fixtures, and tooling for NVIDIA manufacturing usage models
• Develop data automation and tool generation to realize NBU product test automation
• Study and deploy cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, machine learning, and data analytics for production automation
• Provide feedback and assist in the development of NBU product manufacturing debug tools
• Follow up on NBU product test setups and issues (ICT and FCT) with Contract Manufacturers

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control, or Systems Engineering
• 5+ years of related professional experience
• Hands-on experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel
• Ability to debug at the board level and proficiency with probing hardware
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral) and ability to work across functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCU/FPGA programming and debugging
• Experience in x86 assembly and knowledge of PC architecture and power management
• Familiarity with scripting languages including Python, Perl, Java, Shell, or VB
• Experience in test plan development, failure processing, and test program development
• Experience running system-level diagnostic tests and understanding their underlying purposes
