Navigation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance advanced Kalman filters for GNSS/INS products utilizing IMUs and diverse aiding sensors
• Develop and optimize real-time algorithms for geospatial performance in survey and mapping applications
• Conduct sophisticated error analysis and systems engineering to evaluate product performance in diverse settings
• Lead data gathering and fine-tuning initiatives for next-generation navigation software and hardware
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to present performance results and define software requirements

Requirements

• PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, Geomatics Engineering, or Engineering Science
• Proven expertise in Kalman filtering and GNSS navigation
• Proficiency in C/C++ for real-time systems or .NET environments
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or marine inertial applications
• Ability to manage complex technical projects and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-sensor fusion beyond standard GNSS/IMU integration
• Involvement in autonomous vehicle positioning or direct georeferencing for imaging devices
• Familiarity with post-mission mobile mapping software and hardware ecosystems
